I just thought that I would share a little bit about what is happening here at Phos and how the Lord has been working lately within my own self and here at YWAM Madison.

Worship and Warfare at the GMC

Recently, our base commenced their annual winter DTS (summer for all of you southern hemisphere folks) on top of all the other training schools that they run (the full list can be found here). Due to the school being active, every branch of YWAM Madison gets together each Wednesday for something called "Worship and Warfare". It's basically a two-three hour worship and prayer service with a brief message or update thrown in. During these services, I get the privilege of interacting with all the wonderful new students-- many of whom are often seeking a new direction in life. I am continually blessed by my interactions with these students- getting to hear what the Lord is doing in each of their lives and being able to offer my advice and invest into their lives is truly a privilege and a blessing.

Hello there friends,

It has been a while since my last update and quite a few things have happened since then. I hope that you will journey with me as I relate to you the tales that make up my last few weeks.

First of all, there was my 5 day trip to Delnor Hospital in Geneva, Illinois. Hello again friends, I am back!

First impressions of America,

 - As I first touched down in Los Angeles 5 days ago, I thought to myself, "This place is just like the movies." Funnily enough, this is the very same LA in which a lot of movies are actually filmed, so naturally it makes sense.

A new blogger is born

This is my first official blog post, not overly sure what I am doing right now but I will figure this all out soon. I am starting this blog as I will be traversing the world to become a missionary at YWAM Madison, Wisconsin. I am working on tying up all loose ends here before I head overseas in hopefully a few weeks.
